Your Inner Vagabond Coffeehouse and Lounge

This is what happens when you hang out too long (but not long enough) in the Near East: you want to bring a good chunk of it home with you. It wasn't enough for us to just experience the world - we desperately wanted to bring it back with us, show it to people, share it and infuse some of it into their lives.

You will find here info on the permanent coffeehouse in Pittsburgh we plan to open in 2007 as well as the Coffeehouse & Lounge we operate every year as part of Pennsic War.

Pennsic War

The SCA's largest and longest event, Pennsic War is a two-week gathering of almost 12,000 people who get together and relive the Middle Ages. What better place to create a true incarnation of what is the quintessential representation of the Mysterious East - a luxuriously appointed 15th century Turkish coffeehouse?!?
